During Preps:

I did not encounter any problems with this man. He is more than my photographer. He is my confidant. His being part of the AK wedding team gave me peace of mind. I just know everything will go well on the day of my wedding because he is part of the team.

He replies fast and gives frank comments. There are moments during the wedding preps when negative comments about his “diva” attitude emerged. Fair warnings were given to me. I confronted him with the issues because as a lawyer myself I will not only listen to one side of the story. When confronted, RF did not become defensive instead he gave straight facts and judgment was left to me. As always, my gut feel about the issue being one of exaggeration was confirmed.

What I like most about him is he gives me definite answers—no ifs, buts and maybe. When he confirms a schedule (time and venue), the same is really confirmed. No need to follow up. He also has a very sharp memory. He knows your contract and its inclusions.

Wedding Day:

He and his team was the second team of suppliers to arrive. He was with Zye De Guzman and Myra Ho.

RF and his team set off to work immediately. I barely noticed them. Once in a while RF will “time-check”—it was notice to everyone in the Bridal Floor of the proper schedule. He kept everything on time with ample allowance for me to rest and take in my vow.

RF gave me beautiful photos. He also gave me a moving Fusion AVP. I did not regret my decision to keep the Fusion AVP. It was not because I did not trust my Video Team (Cinemaworks). It was because I knew the Fusion AVP will be RF’s take on my wedding – and boy it was worth it!

Zye was very good too! I specifically requested her because she produces good quality photos. She is like RF with longer hair J Zye gave me my dream budoir shot J Arnold loved it we are having it framed! Zye also became my “good sense” during my “lutang moments” when I was about to walk down the aisle. She was fun to be around and her cool aura relaxed my nerves.

Never underestimate Myra. She has a good eye for details too! J

What about the “diva” RF attitude? There was none--AT ALL. RF was a sure hit to my guests! My guests could not believe I had RF for a photographer. They thought he just looked like Raymond Fortun—the hot shot lawyer! haha My family just love him. RF and his team stayed after the wedding, dined with my family, and proudly showed his shots and AVPs to us.

As proof that he did an excellent job covering our wedding at Balai Taal, the super-caretaker Nelson Blanco of Balai Taal (who only recommends the best to prospective clients of the place), asked me for RF’s calling cards because he will refer him to clients. Sir Nelson loved the way RF shot his way showcasing not only the beautiful wedding but also the beauty of Balai Taal. I’m truly proud of him!

Other good points about RF:
RF gave us after the wedding reception our own copies of the Prenup AVP and Fusion AVP. And after one week, RF gave us 8 DVDs of our wedding pictures! Grabe! So many beautiful pictures (a total of 7000++ pics!) and I only get to choose 200 photos for the Crystal Album. Help me!

Wish: I wish there were more pics. I could not get enough of his pictures. I wish there were more. Also, I wish there were more formal family portraits. I was not able to communicate this to RF.
